About PeopleHacker

Governance built for how people actually work

PeopleHacker turns enterprise governance experience into practical tools for organizations adopting AI—without surveillance, unnecessary complexity, or inflated claims.

Updated August 2, 2026

Why was PeopleHacker created?

AI adoption rarely begins with one coordinated enterprise program. It begins one employee, team, vendor, or embedded software feature at a time. That makes it difficult for HR, Legal, Risk, Data, Security, and Technology leaders to see whether the organization has a coherent governance foundation.

PeopleHacker exists to make that starting point clearer. Its tools help organizations identify practical gaps, establish priorities, and have better cross-functional conversations before workplace AI use moves further ahead of policy and oversight.

What experience informs the work?

PeopleHacker was created by a data governance and data engineering practitioner with more than 30 years of enterprise experience across leading Fortune 500 companies. That experience spans data governance, data engineering, infrastructure, regulatory data, lineage, quality, master data, monitoring, and enterprise controls.

The result is a practitioner’s perspective: governance should be rigorous enough to manage real risk and usable enough that people can apply it in day-to-day work.

How does the name PeopleHacker fit the mission?

PeopleHacker is about improving the human systems around workplace technology—not exploiting people. Policies work only when employees can understand them, approved tools meet real needs, and teams can raise concerns without friction. The name reflects that practical, people-centered approach to making governance usable.

What does PeopleHacker provide?

The free Workforce AI Governance Assessment establishes a baseline across six dimensions in about seven minutes. The resource center provides plain-language guidance for addressing individual governance risks.

PeopleHacker provides educational decision support—not legal advice, an audit opinion, or certification of compliance.

How is the assessment constructed?

Read the dedicated assessment methodology for the six dimensions, scoring formula, maturity ranges, privacy architecture, and appropriate use of results.
